Women’s Fashions Men Hate

Ok, so there are some aspects of fashion that men and women don’t see eye-to-eye on.   Whereas women may like them, for whatever reasons, men don’t.
After a little research, here are some of the unanimous winners in the  men’s ‘No-No’ department:
1.  Ugg Boots:  ‘ugg-ly’ and unflattering.
We totally agree.  The only place Ugg boots should be worn is apres-ski, on the slopes.
2.  Harem Pants: not flattering, not even on Kim Kardashian.

As much as we like harem pants, we must agree, they are not very figure-flattering, they tend to add inches in unwanted …

Should You Wear Palazzo Pants?

Palazzo pants are one of the hottest trends for 2011. However, it must be noted, these super-flared trousers are not for everyone. Palazzo pants are most flattering on slim girls with a taller frame who want to add a bit of curve to a shapeless figure, they can also be useful to camouflage wide hips.

Flatter, don’t flaunt:  Pencil skirts are very flattering on many body types. Keep them no more than two inches above the knee. Tailored, …

Here & Now: Halloween Re-Fashion

The best excuse to let your character style go beyond your comfort zone, is Halloween. But after all of the festivities, where does your costume go? To the back of your closet, where it becomes just another ghost of Halloweens past.
Rather than allowing it all to go to waste, try incorporating them into your daily wear as statement pieces.
For those gladiators:
Wear your arm guard as a bold bracelet. Wear with a pair of jeans and a simple top with short sleeves, to show off your strong sense of style.

For the witches:

Making It Last

With the passing of this weekend, the rule of “not wearing white after Labor Day” is supposed to come into effect. Fall’s approach, usually means the fall of summer clothes into the back of your closet until the next year.
But not this summer. This season, give your favorite summer pieces new life.
Summer of 2010 in Los Angeles was too short for Southern Californians. Though the mild weather was a breath of fresh air, it kept our designated summer clothing locked in the depths of our closets. Designers were also taken …
